Tal y Foel is the home of Lewis and Judy Hutchings, and is on the shore of the Menai Straits. It is small and friendly, and in a peaceful rural location with spectacular views across the Straits to Caernarfon Castle and the mountains of Snowdonia.

Anglesey Riding School

Anglesey Riding Centre is next door and offers a variety of activities to local regular riders and to people on holiday in the area, and individual riding programmes with beach and grass-track riding and instruction to suit all standards.

Things To Do

Tal y Foel is ideal for people wanting to enjoy a rural envoronment with walking, fishing or bird watching, horse riding is available on site. We are near Newborough Forest and the beaches and tourist attractions of South Anglesey.

Local Area

Mon Mam Cymru (Anglesey – Mother of Wales) is a very special place and here at Tal y Foel, the site of the historic ferry to Caernarfon, you can learn about the history of the area. Many features of interest can be seen and you can, by arrangement, take a guided walk or horse back ride.

Tal y Foel is set in rural Anglesey farm land and overlooks the Menai Strait and Snowdonia. It is next door to the well established Anglesey Riding Centre offering treks, lessons and beach rides.
