Tal y Foel has its own riding centre offering a variety of activities to people on holiday in the area, and individual riding programmes with beach and grass-track riding and instruction to suit all standards.
We have several miles of grass tracks, a cross-country training course an indoor school and an outdoor menage with show jumps. In addition to our own staff we also have other local instructors who teach here as required (prices on application). Individually designed courses can be arranged to suit your interests, experience and pocket.
Throughout the summer season we have young people's days and half-days, where you catch and groom your horse or pony and learn about horse care and management as well as riding.Children need to be aged 7yrs and over and be able to walk and trot to do the half day/full days.
We cater for horse owners who want stabled holiday livery. Livery prices include use of all facilities at Tal y Foel.
We are concerned for your safety and enjoyment, and for the welfare of our horses and ponies. We provide safety hats, and you should wear a shoe with a small heel and full length trousers.
Please contact Kayte Lloyd-Hughes, manager, for further details and to discuss your requirements. Booking in advance is reccommended.
